Our
Story

Hello, we are Amy & Laura.
We both absolutely love flowers, nature and doing the best we can for our environment.
Amy has grown flowers for a long time and once her children started school she took the opportunity to retrain as a florist.
Laura was also looking for a more creative role but relating back to to her Environmental Biology degree after a career working in the corporate industry.
So in 2021 they took the opportunity and set up their own flower farm and floristry business.

Our Growing Space
Our first beds were started in our small apple orchard, here in the beautiful Chew Valley in 2021.
Since then we have expanded beyond the orchard and currently we have 10 beds dedicated as our flower growing space.
Although we are not certified Organic, we do try and garden in as ecologically friendly a way as much as possible. We definitely don't use any herbicides, pesticides or fertilisers and we try not to be too tidy around the site and have plenty of wild patches to encourage nature to help do our pest control for us!
We are dedicated to becoming as sustainable as possible and always try to do our best by the environment.
The majority of the water we use is harvested from the roofs.
We make as much of our own compost here as we can. And our seeds are sown in durable plastic seed trays which we will reuse for many years to come.

We grow relatively small quantities, but try to fit in as many varieties as possible.

Every year we are always growing new ones that we find interesting and that you definitely won't be able find in the supermarket!

The choices we make are usually taken to give us maximum texture and scent when it comes to arranging time.

We grow a mixture of perrenials, biennals and annuals, the majority of which we grow from seed here. A selection of these we choose specifically for drying.

We also grow extra special tulips, narcissus and alliums in the Springtime.

Our Floristry
We absolutely love growing flowers, but our most favourite part of the business is providing floristry services, crafting beautiful arrangements and bouquets, allowing us to express our creativity and bring joy to our customers.

Our Flowers
Throughout the UK flower season, May - September/October, our first choice is always to have the majority of the flowers we use home grown. We will also support fellow British growers for larger orders and at the edges of the flower season.
During the winter months as well creating dried arrangements from our saved summer stock and winter wreaths from home grown and British foliage we use the flower market and Dutch growers to provide our additional flowers and foliage for us.
Although our personal preference is always to use British flowers if possible, we are of course very happy to source further afield if you have a special flower request, whatever the time of year .

Our Style
Our focus is on crafting gorgeous, slightly wild bouquets and arrangements that embody the beauty of nature.
Our displays showcase stunning blooms not only with colour palettes that are visually appealing but also highly textural and wonderfully fragrant, to create that just-gathered look.

Our Ethos
Our aim is to bring your vision to life with vibrant blooms and exquisite arrangements. We listen closely to your ideas and pay meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring each creation reflects your unique style.
We aim to do this with the minimum environmental impact, and we would never used bleach or flower food in our water. Our floral mechanics are as sustainable as possible, avoiding non biodegradable floral foam.
